EA Cargo Agents is the only agent certified by the South Africa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SACCI) to issue non-preferential Certificates of Origin to customers or other agents alike.

What is a certificate of Origin?
Certificates of Origin is a certificate that certifies that goods in a shipment are wholly obtained, produced, manufactured, or processed in a particular country.

Electronic certificates of origin are not only a means to facilitate and provide a secure trading environment but also save time, costs and increase transparency. EA Cargo Agency can attest electronic certificates.

What documentation do I need to Provide when applying for a Certificate of Origin?
– Original Commercial Invoice, not a tax invoice
– Copy of the Company registration document
– Letter of Authority (template available upon request)
– Formal Undertaking (template available upon request)

The Chamber may request additional supporting documentation if necessary.
