PPECB Inspections

PPECB Inspections

Since its inception in 1991, the Perishable Product Export Control Board (PPECB) has been conducting end-point inspections on perishable items like fruits and vegetables. With inspectors at over 1,500 locations nationwide, the PPECB oversees inspections for more than 200 types of products.

Perishable goods are a multi-billion-dollar contributor to the South African economy. The PPECB’s role is to maintain high standards, safeguarding this sector and ensuring its continued significant economic contribution.

For certain products to be exported, they must be “Passed for Export.” PCA Logistics manages all PPECB inspections, securing the necessary documentation for regulatory approval. We also ensure that your products are transported to their final destination.
